planning and working on a painting. I was thinking of the best way to
illustrate how I work.

step by step look at every stage pictorially. |

Manchester Aviation Art Society exhibition for the 60th Anniversary of
the Battle of Britain.
I have taken a slightly different tack to what I am anticipating a lot
of members might work on. I guess they would probably be doing Spitfires
so I have decided on two different subjects. |

B. Nicolson of 249 Squadron in the action over Southampton that
eventually led to him being awarded the Victoria Cross, the only one
awarded to a Fighter command pilot during the Second World War. You can
