Re:Hear Yea! Hear Yea! Proxy Round 1 Announcement - 2008/06/24 14:23 Yours and Charlie's finished cars look superb. The "deadline" of the 22nd July will concentrate my mind on finishing my car.....

From what we've seen and heard about so far, I think this years entry will be interesting because although there are a few BRMs they are not all works cars and Charlies short nosed variant will make for an nice assortment of Bourne's finest.

My car will arrive on time even if the paint is stiill drying and the glue still hardening.

David

Re:Hear Yea! Hear Yea! Proxy Round 1 Announcement - 2008/06/27 02:50 I was not able to finish the Lotus in time but a rework of the Brabham is on it's way.

Maybe an omen of things to come as the Brabham leads the pack! But probably not.

Again I honestly appreciate the invitation to participate and look forward to the series.

Re:Hear Yea! Hear Yea! Proxy Round 1 Announcement - 2008/07/03 08:43 Hi Jay,

Never mind about the Lotus, the Brabham is looking good... as always. Make sure you let me know when you have sent it. Jim's Lola took about ten days to get here so please post in plenty of time.
Work on my B.R.M. has stalled somewhat due to pressure of work and a long weekend over in Belfast but it will be ready in time ( fingers crossed ).

Just under three weeks to go now and I'm getting all excited !!! Just like a big kid.

Regards

Dave

Re:Hear Yea! Hear Yea! Proxy Round 1 Announcement - 2008/07/09 21:48 well I finaly got round to trying to sort the brm for this yrs event well basicaly its the same as last yrs but Ive added some flex to the chassis now and de tuned the motor so maybe it will find some grip any way tonights tests on a damp track ( yeah the shed roofs sprung a leak ) were quite promising with it dipping into the mid 7s I may just drop a tooth on the gearing just to let it peak a foot further down the straight and perhaps add to the drivabuility a little .
I doubt it will fare much better than last time but I just havent had time to build a new one so better the devil you know

Re:Hear Yea! Hear Yea! Proxy Round 1 Announcement - 2008/07/11 13:50 Hi Jay,

Just to let you know that your Brabham arrived safely today. A bit busy at the moment but I will give it a few gentle exploratory laps later on today and report back.

Regards.
