I've just joined this site tonight and have been trawling around it looking for bodyshells in the shop, but can't seem to find any - though they are referred to and are the subject of some of the posts here - some very good-looking models indeed...!

I appreciate that Dave Jones had a heart attack a couple of years ago - as I did myself, following which I rediscovered slot cars - and that Dave has been on the road to recovery since then, but can anyone tell me if there are any bodies currently available and if so, how I go about checking what is in stock and the prices?

Dave - the shop section is currently closed so it isn't possible to buy Dave Jones bodyshells. Hopefully at some point in the future this might change.

Thanks for letting me know about the shop being closed.

Hope Dave is able to get back to business, but more importantly full health, plus I do appreciate it can be time-intensive looking after older people: Mum is 85 this year and Mum-in-law is 88.

In the meantime, if anyone has any bodies surplus to requirements, perhaps they can let me know as I may be interested, depending on what is available..

I have seen him a few times on SF lately.

I also hope that Dave finds the will to do another run of his bodies-as i would love to get my hands one one to kickstart my scratchbuilding skills again (if i have any skills )
